In February 2003 l started to write the wood music. My aim was to develop a series of musical pieces reflecting different energies
which l have been discovering in my life. To use simple melodies,
sound textures & grooves supporting those energies to be felt
by the listener.
Featuring the woodwind instruments oboe, clarinet and bass clarinet together with percussion instead of the drums, emphasises the more soft and wood-like character l aimed at.
We had the opportunity to perform the "Wood" program at different venues in Switzerland in 2004 and 2005. During that time l recorded all horn tracks, guitar & bass. Piano and percussion were recorded at the Radiostudio in Zurich. The final mix was done by Kit Walker.

This is the conclusion of my wood work. lt has been a long process. Enjoy the melodies, textures and solos by an outstanding
ensemble of individualists, supporting the music and the concept of transporting the life of the wood to you.

Orchestrated melodies of simple beauty and energies reflecting this life. Be taken and moved are the only way to be part of the journey.
This music needed to be dreamt, to be trusted and to be brought into life. Now you are a part of it! Listen, sing, dance and most importantly enjoy.
